Letters from Friends

Here are a few extracts from the hundreds of letters people have written to us after we have handled funerals for them, expressing their appreciation of our funeral services. We call these “letters from friends” because that is what they really are. As Funeral Directors, we meet people often at one of the worst moments in their lives, and we have the opportunity to support them and help them through a difficult time. In the process, we become friends.

You did everything you promised, and more, for a reasonable charge, with no attempt to 'up sell' or take advantage of our grief. Our experience with you was in direct contrast to our unhappy experience with a multi-national funeral director when my father died a few months earlier. You many also be a trifle startled to hear that I now cite you as a case of 'service par excellence' to my classes at Barton TAFE where I now teach services marketing in the Associate Diploma of Business (Marketing)."
