Can I watch the video with a dial-up internet connection?

You can watch a video with a dial-up connection, however, you will experience extremely long delays while the video downloads. This may result in a slow playing video at an unusable quality. A broadband connection is really needed in order to view the videos.

What do I do if the video is blocked by a pop-up blocker?

Pop-up blockers may prevent the video from displaying. If this happens, you will either need to disable your pop-up blocker or add the video site to your list of approved sites for your blocker. See your pop-up blocker or browser for more help.

How can I improve the video quality?

Having a computer with adequate processor speed and memory is critical to video playback. You should first verify that your computer meets the minimum requirements.

Your Internet connection can also impact video quality. If you are using a slow Internet connection, then you may see a poor quality video. A broadband Internet connection is needed to view the video. DSL, cable, and satellite connections should all work.

You can also check the settings of your video media player. You should make sure you are using the latest version and that your configuration settings are appropriate. If in doubt, set the players to the default values.

Should there be sound?

Our videos include sound. If you don't hear sound, first check to make sure you have not muted your speakers and that the volume is turned up to an appropriate level. If everything is connected and the sound still does not occur, you should verify that your sound card is compatible with the viewer you are using for the video.

What should I do if the video doesn't seem to download and play?

You must be able to view streaming content on your machine. If you have a broadband Internet connection, then you should check to make sure your proxy server allows for streaming content.

You can clear your computer's cache and temporary files. This may help provide space for the video to play and thus may improve performance as well.
